  The children decided who they wanted from their class to be a school councilor.

  The children learned about Victorian inventions and their impact on the lives of people living during this period.

  The children were real Tryatops when talking about why they should be voted for the school council. Being kind was often mentioned as being important!
• Summer Reading Challenge Champions!
  We have had some very exciting news from Teignmouth Library - Bishopsteignton have won the Summer Reading Challenge!
• Super Scientists!
  Our scientific work this half term covers the topic of ‘Electricity’.
• Forest School and Literacy
  This week has seen the commencement of the Forest School for our year ones, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
• Wildflower Art Competition
  At the end of Summer term, Explorers, Voyagers and Discoverers entered an Art competition on the theme of native British wildflowers.
• History lesson
  This week, in our history lesson, we created a human timeline to calculate differences in time using the correct vocabulary such as BC and AD.
• Computing - Desktop publishing
  The children explored different ways to edit a birthday invitation.
• A Surprise Visitor!
  The Explorers were very surprised to find a sleeping hedgehog hiding in their construction area!
