      As part of our activity week based on the Romans in Britain, Pioneers and Inventors have been creating mosaics.

      KS1 learnt about why pirates flew certain flags on their boats and what they meant before designing and making their own.

      The Explorers were super Stickatops's, learning how to use the peelers and knives with safety and control.
    • Music making inspired by the planets.
      Year 1 children have been discovering and exploring the music of Gustav Holst.
    • Teignmouth Museum trip
      The children had a fantastic day learning more about the Victorian period and what this looked like in Teignmouth.

      The Preschool children have been using our ‘Little Box of Feelings’ game, to look at and talk about feelings , why we may feel different emotions, what makes us feel happy and how we can express ourselves in a positive way.

      The KS1 children have been inspired by different artists to paint their own pictures digitally.
    • Roman Researchers!
      Pioneers and Inventors have been revisiting all of their Topic learning this half term to create presentations about our local history topic: Roman Exeter.

      This week, children from Inventors and Pioneers delivered some fantastic presentations about why they would like to be a school councillor.
